Mission

My (daily) mission in this world is to help people understand and value the diversity that exists in Hands around globethis world; be it language variations, different ways of processing language, cultural differences, educational experiences, etc. My mission on this website is to use my passion for people, my clinical background of speech-language pathology, and combine it with my current research interests of communication sciences and disorders, education, and sociolinguistics. In plain terms, I want to help raise the cultural competence of people who work with people by sharing information about language, culture, and communication and their impact on learning and everyday life experiences.
